Dear friend:

May I ask a favor of you? I promise it won’t take much time and it could improve the health and well being of someone you know and care about.

I represent Health Performance Resource Marketing Co.(HPRM).We are looking for homeowners or apartment dwellers to serve as “field test evaluators”. Those selected will receive a valuable service at no cost or obligation.

Specifically, we are looking for people who are experiencing any of the following problems: Allergies… Asthma… Breathing Difficulties… Household Odors… Smoke… even Chronic Snoring.

HPRM are marketing representatives for a breakthrough product that purifies indoor air. It’s not an air filtration or ventilation system. Rather it duplicates nature’s own process of cleansing air. It purifies air through electrical ionization charges that attract airborne contaminants. A “blanket” of low level ozone then reduces them to harmless natural substances.

By recreating nature’s own air purifying process, it makes indoor air as fresh and clear as crisp mountain air. The results product users report are truly amazing. Smells created by mold, mildew, pets and smoke vanish within days. People suffering from asthma and allergies due to fur, hair or dust have experienced immediate relief. Many people report symptoms such as congestion, sneezing, wheezing and coughing disappear.

Enclosed are just a few testimonials that have been flooding our offices. Many have been printed in a 40 page booklet – now available for public inspection.

But back to the point of this letter and why I need your help. The manufacturer is still in the process of gathering field data on the health effects their air purification systems have on individuals who live and work in home, office and building environments.

For example, one of the long range studies they are conducting is the effect their systems have on preventing the common cold. You might be surprised to learn that 90% of colds are contracted indoors. Our air purification systems appear to have the effect of preventing colds by cleansing indoor air of cold viruses.

As the manufacturer’s representative, I have been asked to contact area residents to find “field test evaluators” for their various systems. There are several models in use, depending on the configuration of the dwelling and the air problems residents are experiencing.

You are among the first I contacted for this project. I wrote to you because you are the kind of socially responsible person we are looking for. We are up against what the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) calls the number one health problem in America – indoor air pollution.

Those who agree to participate in our study will have free and unlimited use of our air purification equipment for 3 to 5 days. In turn, all they have to do is answer a few questions about the effect the system is having on members of their household. At the end of the test period, the system will be removed.

Let me repeat at this point … there is no charge or obligation for the use of our air purification system. There are absolutely no strings attached.

We would appreciate it if participants permit us to publish their experiences with the unit they used but this is not mandatory. Participants also have the option of keeping the system at eventually no cost. This will be explained at the end of the evaluation period.
